Pregnancy Fitness Workout Programs at Workoutsforwomen.com
ST. PETERSBURG, Fl., June 19th, 2001 -- Because so many pregnancy exercise
routines are repetitive and sometimes dull, certified personal fitness trainer, Joni Hyde is presenting an entirely different approach to
pregnancy fitness at her web site, http://www.workoutsforwomen.com/pregnancy_fitness_visitor_center.asp
.
Better than the 90's repetitive exercise videos, Hyde says the addition of her pregnancy
online fitness program introduces safe and effective routines for
ladies who are expecting. She says, the site avoids offering the same old
thing by presenting an assortment of home exercise programs that change each
week, with a curriculum that's adaptable to each trimester.
"Pregnant women who desire the convenience of a home exercise program, combined with the guidance of a certified personal trainer, will find the
program valuable," says Hyde, herself a Certified trainer, who is a mother of one
and a black belt in Tae kwon do karate. "We use rapid display video/audio presentations and written descriptions to deliver
weekly routines to ladies."
With almost 200 exercises, the program offers variety, a vital component of a successful exercise plan, says Hyde. She believes that more
pregnant ladies would stay in their fitness program if they didn't get bored and had more diversity.
Beginning the home exercise program is simple. First, the visitor completes
a pregnancy fitness profile, then selects a trimester level. A program is designed using this information.
Each week, ladies receive a new workout. "Because the workouts are changed so often, the program is always fresh. This
change is key in creating balance and preventing injury," says Hyde.
An accountability system reinforces consistent adherence to the
program. Hyde says that when you are expecting, consistent exercise is highly recommended over intermittent
bouts of activity. Consultations with Hyde provide guidance and answers to questions by e-mail. A Workout Buddy program
matches up a hand picked counterpart to encourage and support via email.
Visitors can utilize a collection of helpful sections. There is a nutritional needs calculator, heart rate
calculator, rate of perceived exertion chart, tips on maintaining pelvic fitness
and a page that instructs ladies how to check for Diastasis, an abdominal condition
that affects many pregnant women. There's also a section that offers
video demonstrations of stretches.
"The greatest thing about this site is that pregnant ladies can enjoy the benefits of a having a personal trainer, without
ever leaving their home or adhering to a trainers schedule," says Hyde.
